Leather Belt Making Workshop Weds 1st July 7pm

Join us for an evening of making your own leather belt.

Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of vegetable tanned leather and a selection of solid metal buckles in stainless steel, brass or antique brass.

At the workshop you will learn to:

Use end punches to cut the ends of the leather

Bevel the edges

Use burnishing gum and an edge slicker to seal and burnish the cut edges

Punch holes

Use stamps to personalise

Skive the leather to thin it down

Attach the buckle and a belt loop using rivets or Chicago screws

At the end you will have a quality, custom real leather belt that should last years.
